Illmitz
Wine tasting events and a tour of the vineyards can be booked, accompanied by regional products provided by the family-owned catering business. They include an iced soup of honey melon with a Beerenauslese sweet wine, or a Granny Smith apple dessert with a classic Welschriesling, a dry white wine. Opitz family are amazing hosts. The rooms are well equipped and clean, the breakfast is perfect, but most of all we enjoyed the carrying attitude of Angela, Maria, Willi and Ian. We made the wine testing of the house and it was really super well prepared and served. This is place where we want to go again and again!
Mörbisch am See

The hosts were there to greet us. This property appears to be a few rooms dedicated to guests upstairs in a family home. Lovely breakfast room and food downstairs. Mörbisch-am-See is a tiny little town so you can walk to everything in it; the slightly larger town of Rust is about a five minute drive north. All in all very pleasant.

We were on a business trip with my colleagues, not for the first time. I trust it will not be the last. :) Beautifully located in a beautiful location. It really has a feeling of luxury inside and out. Everything is perfectly clean. Luxuriously and stylishly decorated inside and out. The photos are a true reflection of reality. It is absolutely certain that anyone who comes here will leave with positive memories.
The host was kind and efficient. I really appreciated the homemade jar of jam which she left for us for the breakfast. The place is extremely quiet and peaceful, lovely garden, nice view to the Neusiedlersee. The kitchen is well equipped (fridge, french press, toaster) and the bed very comfy (new matresses!).

We went to an outdoor opera that weekend and needed a place to overnight. The accomodation was just perfect for pur needs, easy to find, excellent communication with the host, immaculately clean., quiet, peaceful place. We will return next year.
The place is located in verry quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Beautiful nature all around. A lot of cycling routes around the lake. Delicious breakfast included, and extremely helpful owner ❤️
