Wonderful quiet place! The house, linens, kitchen everything were clean. To getting to the house was not difficult. Perfect place to get away from the noisy city.

An amazing place. A real blessing to rest from the noisy Portuguese resorts in Algarve. Great view to the mountains. Amazing pool. If you want a good and peaceful rest, this place is for yoy. It is easy to find, 10 km away is a city with restaurants and supermarkets. You will definitely find something to visit around. Marvao Castle alone is worth it. We will definitely be back here one day.

The house, pool and surrounding art trail were spot on. We also visited a vineyard and the walled city in Marvao and thought those were both great!

We loved this hotel. The owner Joaquim was very friendly. He welcomed us personally with some small talk . He gave us all the information we needed about the hotel and the village of Marvão. The room was very spacious and very clean. The bathroom had a big window, and was well ventilated. Wi-fi was very good all around the room. Breakfast was good, and served based on the request of each one of the guests. Free parking near the hotel.

Absolutely perfect! The house is so beautiful and comfortable! The front of the house is all in glass, with a breathtaking panoramic view! I's so cosy and all the details made us felt so welcomed. Every bedroom had its own bath, the beds were super comfortable. You have stunning views from every room. There was a lot of space. Outside, the house has an amazing private terrace, so comfortable to relax and enjoy the view! The sense of peace we feel there is unique. Irene is an excellent hostess and made us feel so welcome! We loved everything and we want to come back!

The hosts, Sandra and Erick, and all the animals, specially Ben, the cat is very friendly. The pool is amazing, there's a lot of places to be around the pool. The view and the nature surrounding the house. The quiet nights, it's great to sleep and relax. There's a lot of places to go nearby.

The host went above and beyond to insure that we were extremely happy with the choice of room. We went to celebrate a birthday and she went the extra mile to make it special for him. I was overwhelmed with the beauty of the room, the house and property. Helena is an artist with exquisite taste and you can see that reflected in everything she does. She is kind, warm and generous. The breakfast feast is amazing. So many choices even for us vegetarians. The shower was lovely, incredibly hot. The bed was so comfortable and extra large, the biggest bed I've ever seen. Our dogs were kindly welcomed and they enjoyed their vacation. The views on the property will take your breath away. We will definitely be back soon!

Highly recommend. Everything is spotlessly clean and the kitchen and bathroom well-equipped! The staff is warm and helpful. There are friendly goats and sheep in paddocks around the property—even the geese were friendly.
