Find the country houses that appeal to you the most
Looking for a country house?
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The owner/ staff lady was incredibly helpful and nice. When we arrived she asked what time our MP tickets were for and if we had the bus tickets already and she sent me to buy them straight away as we had arrived quiet late. She packed our breakfast to go which was great as our ticket for MP was at 6am.
Rooms are quiet comfy.
The staff were very friendly.
They even welcomed us with a bag of sweets.
They let our luggage in the room until we returned from Machu Picchu.
The beds were comfy and the room was quiet
River view/balcony was incredible!!! Loved the complimentary filtered water and tea machine in lobby for refilling water bottles. The location was also ideal- close to everything and yet quiet.
Very quiet room with large floor-to-ceiling windows. The two of us had a room for 4 people, so there was more than enough space.
And it's true, when you see the queue for the bus to Machu Picchu at the breakfast table, it's time to get up and join the queue ;)
Wow, loved this place. The room overlooked the mountains and village, super comfy beds, great location that is central but still nice and quiet, open air brekky with a view to die for! The steps to get there are a pain, but the view you end up with is more than worth it.
It was quiet and cozy - we guess compared to the other hotels closer to the center / train station / etc. it is great to get good rest before or after Machu Picchu! Also it was clean and comfortable for 1-2 nights!
It is a very simple hostel, with confortable beds, was clean, we had hot water and nice big breakfast. The place is not luxury but good price fir the money. The rives makes a lots of noise, but for me was a peaceful sound to sleep.
New hotel, located in peaceful quiet place in 100m from main noisy street with bars and restaurants, nice clean room. Nice rooftop lounge zone only for breakfast
Super option when visiting Machu Picchu.
We were met from the train & it's only a short walk up the main street to the hostal. Despite being on the main street it was very quiet & peaceful at night.
Rina & her partner were brilliant, offering really helpful advice, even some walking poles & storing our luggage on the last day. The room was nice & breakfast was great, especially the coffee. MaPi town is small so everything is only a 5 min walk away.
Would definitely stay here if we ever visit again.
