It's in the sticks! But it was great. The owner has a small shop. Drank a few beers with owner and locals. I really liked that. Sky was full of stars. Great place, just far from anything else. Went to the hot springs before, it was 50min drive time.

    The location is absolutely fantastic, it’s like on another planet! It takes about 15-20min ride off the main road and we really enjoyed a serene journey across the countryside. It’s close to Grutas, maybe 30min drive, and even on a cold day (+12’C) we had a blast at the thermal baths. Inside the tiny house is a bedroom and bathroom, it’s really nice and convenient. We visited in early December and it can get rather cold and humid at night (+5’C), so come prepared :)

    No breakfast, but we were offered use of the kitchen. Beds were comfy, everything clean, good shower. Peaceful - we slept really well after a day at Talantongo. Pleasant, friendly little town. Lovely owner. Nice mountain views from the upstairs room (downstairs looked a little dark).
