Roca di Pierle is a paradisiacal retreat. The staff is highly-communicative, personable and thoughtful. Upon check in, we were greeted with an espresso and a tour around the grounds. They provided us detailed info about the region, including insights from their local experience.
Each morning, chef Claudia made a fantastic breakfast from local organic cheese, juice, honey, salami etc. The language barrier did not prevent joyful interactions with Claudia, who has a sincere lust for life.
The tiered gardens are enchanting and well-kept. The apartments are roomy yet cozy. Each reservation includes a designated patio to enjoy breakfast. The pool is nestled in the hillside and offers a stunning view of the valley. Overall, I would highly recommend Roca di Pierle. The emphasis on local staff, products and sight-seeing allows guests to experience Tuscan living at its finest.

Large room in a lovely setting. Nice pool and plenty of places to lounge. Nicely landscaped. Beautiful areas to sit. Great restaurant, it was nice to have a night at the property with good local produce and wines. Helpful staff. Good breakfast with lots of choice.

We loved our stay. The hosts could not have been more helpful. We wanted the use of a kettle and a couple of different sized pots and they were immediately provided. The pool area is just fantastic and the view is stunning.
The beds are comfy and everything was spotlessly clean.
It is in a great location for exploring the area.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Marco was an extremely friendly and attentive host. Without dinner, I would rate it a 9.5, but with dinner, it's a 12 out of 10. It's such a quiet place where my children enjoyed running around the property. Marco is very passionate about his responsibility for the local airport and is honing his cooking skills. We will certainly return, and I highly recommend booking dinner.
What an incredible find in the beautiful Umbrian countryside. The property is very tastefully decorated and exceeded our expectations. It is gorgeously done, with fantastic food and stunning property and grounds.
Wow, this exceeded every expectation. The property is magnificently restored with the most incredible attention to detail. The staff, pool, food, music and room were absolutely amazing. The linen, bed and tranquility of the room was luxurious and spacious. We can’t wait to go back!
