This was our perfect holiday. We wanted to be away from everything and experience a peaceful atmosphere. We loved walking the area and nearby town. The flowers and fresh air were amazing! This was just perfect. The hosts are an amazing couple who went out of their way to help us when we unknowingly arrived on a Bank holiday early evening. We highly recommend this place and hope to return soon!

    CartonHouse was just exceptional from check in to check out. Staff were all just fabulous. The grounds are beautifully maintained and wonderful walking routes available in the grounds. Bedroom was superb and bed so comfortable and large bathroom with bath and separate powerful shower. Peaceful and quiet nights sleep. Make sure to do a tour of the main house with Brian Sutton. He is so so knowledgeable about the history we could have listened to him all day. Great stories to be told.

    It's in a nice quiet area not far from town ideal for us as was close to venue we were attending Jim our host was lovely even gave me a lift next morning to collect my car would recommend staying here and would stay again when in the area thank you Jim for your hospitality

    The building is outstanding. A mixture of old and new combined together to create a luxurious 5 star hotel in a beautiful location. There was a slight mix up with the room when we arrived, but this was quickly resolved by the very helpful staff who gave us a complimentary 3 course dinner in the Kathleen’s Kitchen Restaurant; the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive and polite. The pool, steam room, and sauna were excellent and we were able to use them before checking in as we arrived 2hrs early. We will definitely be back!

    The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving us a lift to our event and were very accommodating. The rooms were big and comfortable, a lovely, peaceful and quiet area. The host was very generous and made us a lovely Irish breakfast.

    Very good location. Parking available. Campus is very nice and pleasant to walk around. The town is just few mins walk. Being with the confines of the campus grounds, the accommodation is quiet and peaceful with views over the gardens.
