Re Breakfast...Service was quite slow, but dining room was busy at that time. As a vegetarian, there was not much choice. We liked the magnificent surroundings. Our bedroom was situated in part of a beautifully restored stable yard of an 18th century country house

Staying at the Square Townhouse is very straightforward: the host texted me beforehand to give me a contact number and check when I was arriving. He was there to meet me when I reached the place, gave me keys for 24hr access, and gave good advice as to where to have dinner. The room was spotless, beds and ensuite bathroom fine, and shared areas (lounge and kitchen) in good order. If you just want somewhere to stay in the middle of Fermoy, it's perfect. The night I was there was perfectly quiet. One of the calmest places I've ever been!

The place is magical. It has been modernised in a wonderful way to make it seem really homely and comfortable and at the same time provide all that I would expect from a 5 star country hotel. We strongly recommend it.

Very clean large room with huge bed, attentive staff with excellent breakfast. Very pleasant location in open countryside. Lovely first floor lounge with TV, games and view.

What an amazing place! Like staying in a stately home. Extremely comfortable rooms and gorgeous 'country house' furnishings with a modern bathroom. Lovely crisp sheets and luxurious beds. There is a very large guest living room and beautiful grounds. Very good cooked breakfast. Very friendly staff at breakfast. Wish that we had been staying more than one night!
