Set in Laragh, in a historic building, 2.2 km from Glendalough Monastery, Luxury Country House Glendalough Wicklow is a holiday home with a garden and bar. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is situated 23 km from Wicklow Gaol.

The house was large and had a lot of character and charm. It was in beautiful surroundings. In a village with everything we needed for a family break. Large bathrooms and living areas. A stunning kitchen had everything wee needed including an AGA cooker. A large family living room with a massive TV and wood burner. The Host, Lisa was lovely, she checked we had everything and was helpful with finding things to do in the area. The house had absolutely everything we needed and included all the extras that make a family trip less stressful. Lisa kindly had milk and other necessities in for us arriving. We had a relaxing family break that both kids and adults throughly enjoyed. We can’t wait to visit again. The kids didn’t want to leave.

Excellent location for our two-nights stay ! 20 minutes walk to Glendalough where the hiking trails begin. The hotel is charming, we had one of the rooms located in the garden, it was very quiet. Wi-fi is included. Breakfeast is not included, we had one in the associated restaurant wich was very good.

What a lovely hotel ! The location is perfect for visiting Glendalough park ; even though it;s on a (not overly busy ) highway , our room was quiet and peaceful - we had the windows open to the sound of a stream on the property , very nice ! Also the food was exceptional , Aunty Biddies Guinness stew was the best we've tasted in Ireland , and the service was quick and friendly . Will need a return trip I think !

The location is fantastic and that's really what you are paying for - you are right in the heart of Glendalough, with the walks and lakes on your doorstep. It's a nice, if slightly dated, country hotel with a good bar and restaurant. Our room was quiet and comfortable - not that big, but enough for the two of us. The bathroom was a good size. The outdoor food/drinks bar is a nice touch for the summer.

Although located next to a heavily trafficed road, we had a room in a little garden house, behind the main house down a little slope - absolutely quiet. Perfect for hiking/cycling to glandalough or wicklow way.

It was really tranquil, peaceful and quiet. Alternatively its a 5 min walk to the pub if you fancy a pint. Cosy, clean and chilled out. We had a lovely bbq in the wooded area. Really couldn't recommend enough. Pat couldn't have been more helpful.

We liked everything- it is quiet, clean, but having all necessarily amenities close enough place. In the sunny weather it is perfect place to stay- you can go for hiking into beautiful mountains and later spend evenings on the porch facing the sun going down. And also staff is amazing, if you need advice or anything else, they always helps you out.
