A 3-minute drive from Looe, the 18th-century Polraen Country House Hotel offers well-appointed rooms and an award-winning range of breakfasts. This 4-star, award-winning property provides free parking and WiFi and is within 3 minutes’ walk of Sandplace Train Station.

Lovely, jovial hosts Gill & Martin really made my stay homey and memorable. They were always up for a quick chat and lots of to-do/see recommendations in the area. The B&B is located in a verdant rural location and only a 3 min drive into town. Well located for easy access to many of the trailheads and National Trust properties in the region. The room/bed was superbly comfortable. I truly enjoyed breakfast in the conservatory while chatting with the other guests. Breakfast options were also plentiful, flexible and delicious. Polraen was my favourite stay during my 3 weeks in England.

We liked the excellent location for both the town and the sea, the fact there was dedicated parking close by which can be an issue in Looe, it was quiet, very clean & comfortable, well lit and set out. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for all our clobber. Also liked that it was all on one floor with no stairs (I live in a ground floor flat myself) as well I as it being in a peaceful little alleyway with no traffic nearby.

We LOVED our stay! It's a great place, very quiet and family friendly. Quite few extras included into price such as free swimming pool sessions, pony ride, tractor ride, animal feeding sessions. The staff is very nice and helpful. There are plenty of spaces to play and for the kids to run around, there is also a game room and play area for the kids. Very quiet and peaceful. Short drive to Looe with lots of cafes and a nice beach to go to.

The location and views were absolutely stunning, and the weather improved as the weekend went on, which made it even better. The staff have been friendly and polite, and the location was peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend a stay here and am only disappointed that it wasn't summer that we visited

Lovely accommodation. Everything was perfect. Comfortable, quiet, peaceful, roomy, great views, superb location. Good coastal walk into Looe town. We were mostly lucky with the weather, but the excellent heating kept the few chilly episodes at bay. Handy Beach Shack for a few meals out.

The location is amazing. Beautiful views of the River. Close to the town but quiet and peaceful. Our hosts were so lovely and welcoming and very helpful. Great communication. A full working kitchen and all the appliances we needed to make Christmas dinner. Dog friendly and lovely patio and paths for late night dog toilet times (loved the 'poo tin' 😂) parking close to the property. They even had a massage chair which my disabled mother absolutely loved. 100% would go back again.

Loved everything about our accommodations. From the gorgeous decor to the extra food delights that were left for us to enjoy. Having the hot tub was the most relaxing part of our stay. This was one of the best accommodations we have stayed in. Highly recommend the hut for a romantic getaway as it's a very peaceful and quiet place. The host was very attentive in getting back to us when we left messages for her. We provided drone footage of the property that can be viewed on YouTube by searching Daisy Farm Luxury Shepards Hut.
