    We have stayed a couple of times before and would recommend. The staff are so warm and welcoming, has a lovely country house feel and the Scottish breakfast is so hearty it sets you up for the day.

    The location is stunning and so peaceful. Loved the animals in the garden and the gardens themselves are beautiful. Great value for money. The breakfast was delicious and portion sizes were just right with a great choice. We loved the receptionist neve she was so friendly and offered information on the local area and suggest places to go. The lounge are is super comfy with big sofas and the old decor and features are lovely.

    It was very comfortable. Bedroom and bathroom (bath and shower) very spacious. Location was excellent and quiet. Breakfast included 'full Scottish '. It was an ideal break!

    The setting is exceptional. Quiet country retreat, main building full of original features, feeling of staying in a classic 60s country hotel. Breakfasts were excellent, staff were a delight, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are comfortable - this is is not a 5 star hotel but the furnishings were above our expectations. The countryside around is unspoiled and beautiful, Galloway is a secret the Scots appear to want to keep to themselves.... ;-)

    Staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble.Ann was so friendly and told us about nice places to visit. Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent.

    The staff couldn't do anymore to welcome us. The place is so peaceful and was excellent value for money! Breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Very clean too. Its a very quiet location which was perfect for a great night sleep.
