The hotel caters for all. Specifically those fishing. The sportsman’s rooms are adequate and priced accordingly, the riverside offer much nicer rooms with lovely views over the Tay and come with Wi-Fi and a fridge. The main hotel is as you would expect from a country hotel. The food is very good as is the wine list but it’s a fixed rate for evening meal, breakfast is excellent.

Nice quiet area to stay, very little road noise. The hotel itself is what I would describe as shabby shiek due to the age of the building, however they make the most of it. The breakfast is cooked to order, ,which I prefer to buffet style, with various choices on offer. The room was large & the bed was comfortable, with a shower over a bath and oodles of hot water once it came through.Overall, very satisfied especially when you take the evening meals into account.
