It was in a lovely quiet location, Serena was very welcoming and gave us all the details we needed for the stay. Very clean throughout and nice touches such as the bread, milk etc for breakfast. Nice view and the bed exceptionally comfortable. Great stay, would definitely recommend.

Everything about Grange Manor was perfect! The breakfast delivered to your room was amazing. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. They made us feel really at home. The hot tub in the garden is an added bonus! We can't wait to come back already!

This is a great little farmhouse in quiet and gorgeous countryside. Sally was very welcoming, the booklets in the room were very thorough and the breakfast was lovely. Sally was very knowledgeable about the local area, when we mentioned we were going for a walk and also recommended a place to eat for dinner. Loved the loo with a view 😁

We had a great overnight stay here during a trip by car to Italy. The accommodation was excellent and definitely as described, a lot of thoughtful little touches in the room, very comfortable bed and lots of space, even a couch where we could sit and watch TV. Sally and Simon were very welcoming and friendly and cooked us a beautiful breakfast which we ate while enjoying the lovely view of the surrounding fields. A very quiet location in the heart of the countryside, complete peace and tranquillity. Excellent on-site parking.

The pub/hotel is in a location handy for Lancaster, for nearby countryside and the M6, with free parking. Our room was in an annexe at the rear, accessed by stairs. The room was comfortable and quiet with a good sized shower room. The cooked breakfast was very good, but see negative comments.

The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The individual temperature controlled rooms were a great luxury. The interior design of the upstairs was a pleasure to look at each day. Sitting in the hot tub in the evening with bats flying around and rabbits quietly grazing was wonderfully peaceful, as was the lovely bench by the river. Rhubarb the cat was an added bonus and made us feel very welcome with their companionship. This property is of a very high standard and we have a wonderful stay.

As self-catering studios go, Harris End is top-notch. A huge, comfortable bed, great shower facilities and all the kit you need to look after yourself for a few days in the Lancashire countryside. Well-placed for exploring the Lakes as well, with the M6 just a few minutes' drive away, and in a very quiet, peaceful location. We'd definitely look to stay here again next time we're up in this part of the country.
