Pinewood Country House, country house in Leuchars

Set in its own grounds, Pinewood Country House is a family-run guest accommodation located just 10 minutes’ drive from St Andrews. This Edwardian house features an original staircase and period fireplaces. It offers free WiFi, 6 elegantly decorated en suite bedrooms and ample on-site parking. The property also features a charge point for electric cars that guests can use at an additional cost.

Very beautiful and stately. Immaculately groomed home with a peaceful garden area. Beautifully landscaped yard. Breakfast was amazing, great, stupendous! The homemade bread deserves special commendation as possibly the best ever baked. Owners Karen and Thomas are most welcoming.

    The property was absolutely spotless, very homely and had all the amenities you would need. Julie was very welcoming and friendly on arrival and had provided some little extras that went down a treat, she was only a message away if we needed anything. The property is in a quiet and relaxing area with nice views of the countryside and a homely feel.

    It's a shame the pool not working, the grounds and burn to explore and free parking close still short drive to centre it's a lovely place. Quiet peaceful night's sleep.

    The house is beautiful. I would go as far as to say, it's luxurious. The room with lovely ensuite shower was enormous. The welcome tray went above and beyond. Staff were very friendly. The bed was super comfortable. There was a very good breakfast menu - everything was covered and the portions were extremely generous. Although some might prefer a central location - we were originally looking for one - we discovered we were much happier in this quieter location which nonetheless had lots of great looking bars and eateries close by.

    Great little single bed room I stayed at, nice and cool and you can open a window. Comfortable bed and great shower. Good breakfast. A very quiet and peaceful location in Dundee, I will be using this guest house again for my next visit.
