Room was big and spacious and the grounds were beautiful (minus the incomplete extension). Very quiet and peaceful through the night. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. Would return for their hospitality alone.

Lovely cottage with private garden in the countryside. Nice views and not too far from Dumfries centre. Good location for traveling to many places. Everything you need in the cottage includes large flat screen TV with dvd player and dvds. Also many games and books. Bedrooms were very spacious. The beds and pillows were very comfy, as was the sofa. It was very peaceful and quiet - only the sound of wildlife. I wish we had been able to take a couple more days yhere.

Perfectly located. Quiet and peaceful. Safe for our children and free which is hugely important as our youngest is autistic and requires the space. It also means as parents we were also able to relax. Owners were friendly and welcoming and allowed us to feed the animals which my children loved.

It's so peaceful, proper escape to the countryside. Annex has everything you need. Enclosed back garden was great for the dogs. Corrina , the owner was lovely. Definitely recommend if you want to get away from it all. Within driving distance to various places, just Google and go . Fab🙂.

We stayed in the deluxe suite which is an annex on it's own and is so peaceful and quiet. The standard of furniture, fittings and decoration is excellent. It is a very good breakfast with plenty of choice.

I stayed here earlier this year and did not hesitate to book again for the summer. The setting is lovely and quiet so great if you want a peaceful break. Everyone at the hotel is so welcoming and friendly which makes such a difference to your stay. The food is delicious, whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, and there is a good menu choice. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very clean and the beds are very comfortable. I have already booked my next stay here and would highly recommend the hotel.
