Located in a small village, 20 miles from Inverness, the Foyers Bay Country House is set in private grounds and has stunning views over Loch Ness. There is free parking and Wi-fi available at Foyers Bay Country House.

My first view of Foyers Bay Country Guest House was a happy one. Perched on a hill surrounded by gardens and forest, this majestic, old, stone mansion was built in 1896. My beautiful, immaculately-clean room, with its, oh-so-comfortable bed, had a large balcony that overlooked the gardens, forest and Loch Ness. If you like quiet, like you’ve never heard it before, breathtaking forest and beach walks, free-roaming roosters calling each other in the afternoon to wander off into the woods together, red squirrels and pretty songbirds at the feeders, butterflies and bees in the bushes, inquisitive cats coming in and out to stay informed of what you’re up to, and old-style open windows that let in the freshest country air, then Foyers Country Guest House is right for you as it was for me! The pleasant, gracious, hard-working owners, Elly and Chris, kept me well-fed with freshly-prepared-to-order food and pampered with wonderful service, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable … gracious hosts in every way.

Nice Peaceful location with excellent views of the hill side. Cottage was nice inside and good sized rooms. The cottage was only a 10min drive to all the local amenities. This place is perfect for anyone wanting to escape life and have quiet remote place to chill and unwind, which is what we were after.

The shower was the best shower I've ever had! I read all the reviews after I booked and I was abut worried because they were bad! But the staff was lovely it was cheap it was quiet ... I think the people writing bad comments expected a luxury lodge which it isn't, if your touring scotland and just want a bed and shower and warmth that's litrally what you pay for ! I would deffo stay again

It had the look and feel of a small castle. A warm timber and tartan interior added a level of visual aesthetics. The concierge showed immediate interest in us as guests and made us feel welcome as well as sharing some local information and highlights. Twin room was spacious, beds were lovely, bathroom fitted with both shower and bath, a luxury for tired limbs. And it was blissfully quiet throughout the night. Breakfast buffet had all one could require to start the day and the setting was again warm and welcoming.

The location for us was lovely, quiet and peaceful in a small village surrounded by pretty countryside. Breakfast was not included as part of the package, but the welcome basket was very good.
