There is a private entrance at the country house for the convenience of those who stay. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

A great week-end drinking, eating and chilling. Very attentive staff. Nice selection of meals offered. We loved the shepherd's hut and it was in our own secluded spot. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit watching the stars after dark. Our dog also enjoyed himself. Such a dog-friendly place.

    The Thatch roof accommodation was perfect, very peaceful and quiet. the room was decorated in keeping with the cottage. and the added basket of breakfast with local produce was a lovely touch.

    Little Barn was ideally situated in the heart of the rural Dorset countryside. It was very quiet and Clare was very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. It was perfect for a couple of nights stay for two people, who just needed a bed for the night and somewhere to freshen up, in a lovely shower with plenty of hot water.

    Amazing place to stay. Clean and family friendly with so much to do on site. Lovely quiet location in the countryside yet only minutes by car to Dorchester and it’s amenities. Games room and tennis courts were a real hit for us as a family with a 5 year old son. And the hot tub was a great way to relax under the stars.

    Lovely spacious family suite, very clean, nice and quiet location with pretty countryside views. The rooms very very comfortable and had everything we needed at a great price. Restaurant and pub downstairs had very friendly and courteous staff. Our evening meal was of excellent quality, fantastic food and breakfast was also outstanding. Highly recommended and would love to go back and stay again

    The owner is very friendly and helpful, and will give you lots of great tips for exploring the area. Breakfast was great, freshily cooked and you could order whatever you liked which was a nice touch. Really quiet and peaceful location, and our room was much bigger than expected (like a mini apartment).

    Waterfield House is situated in a beautiful and peaceful countryside location. We stayed in a spotlessly clean luxurious room with a very modern en suite bathroom and a balcony with amazing views The hosts Nicky and Fraser were extremely welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

    The location is excellent - in the countryside but well connected. We loved having the play area, tennis courts and swimming pool. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. It was a quiet and peaceful spot and very suited to children.
