Comfortable accommodation in lovely garden surroundings, very peaceful but not far from Dalbeattie town. Well equipped kitchen in a small space and very clean garden cottage. Breakfast food supplies on arrival which was a nice touch.

The minute I walked up the stairs, into the lounge and looked out from the balcony my heart sung. Stunning view, beautiful bird song, glorious. The property is excellent, very well equipped in every way. Couldn't have wanted more. Quiet walk to a beautiful beach and coastal walks. Exclusive use of part of the garden, a lovely garden with bench and sunloungers. Very comfortable lounge, large TV. This cottage is in a quiet location with beautiful coast and countryside all round. Loved every minute staying here.

The location was very peaceful and had lovely views over the countryside, the gardens were lovely, we were lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting out in the morning. The history of the building is amazing, we were shown the chapel and the ball room, you can feel the history inside. The host was great, I get the feeling they take great pride in their premises and service. The room was lovely and felt as though you stepped back in time a little (with modern comforts).

It is a lovely hotel with its own private grounds, which are kept to a very high standard. Staff and owners were always available if needed and it was just what we like (quiet& peaceful). The breakfast was to a high standard as were evening meals. The evening meal have a vast menu which will cover all dietary or other needs. The choice is vast and the time from ordering is vey acceptable. Enjoyed our 2 night immensely!
