Location was great to walk into the city, the city walls and to the racecourse, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful, the beds were comfortable, the house was warm and had coffee machine, dishwasher with all cleaning products available plus tea, coffee, pods, cereals etc meant didn't have to bring in those bits and pieces.
More than 1 bathroom makes a huge difference when with friends/group of adults.
Exceptionally clean. Plenty of utensils, tea, coffee & sugar . Plenty of luxury towels and toiletries. Located in a quiet area, within a 10 mn walk to the city centre.
The Management and staff couldn't do enough for me. The help, information, food and facilities were superb. The hotel is really close to the city area, but quiet and peaceful at the same time.

My stay at Ormonde Guest House was wonderful! The warm greeting upon arrival set the tone for a fantastic experience. The rooms were quiet and impeccably clean, providing a peaceful retreat. The staff's hospitality was exceptional, and their attention to detail made me feel truly valued. I highly recommend Ormonde Guest House for a memorable stay in the area.
The room was excellent and met my accessibility needs,perfectly. Area very quiet and peaceful. One problem, there was virtually no TV reception barely getting BBC1 and BBC2 and that’s all.If you want good TV then don’t book the annex!
It was soooo peaceful, in the countryside. Yet literally right next to Chester. Absolutely brilliant location. Spacious accommodation. And on its own, so utterly private (apart from stable staff). We’d come again without a doubt.
Staff were lovely and friendly, the bed was comfy fresh and clean, the room felt cosy and warm. Very quiet hotel and peaceful. Free WiFi which is a bonus and a working tv with lots off channels. We Would stay again if we came back to the area.
The location was perfect, nice an peaceful, the hot tub was easy to use, easy access on arrival, overlooking a field with alpacas an sheep, an some friendly chickens that came to say hello a few times. Lovely an quiet night away. The host were easy to communicate with before arrival
The location of the property was great. Really quiet and peaceful, beautiful countryside. Really spacious property, nice kitchen and big dining table, fully equipped throughout the house with everything you could need. Lovely bedrooms and so so clean throughout ! Loved staying there.
