Interesting old-time manor in the near of Canterbury, green quiet area, peaceful gardens. The room was large, with soft beds and cozy overall feeling, the bathroom was also spacious enough. Breakfast offered enough options to choose from and we enjoyed the pancakes and the English veggie ones. Gave the right feeling of spending a night in the English countryside in an aristocratic way.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet and perfectly located. It was the ideal spot to see not only the beautiful cathedral, but Canterbury as well. The staff were friendly and helpful, we had a room with a view of the Cathedral, and the breakfast was excellent. Unexpected bonuses included being able to hear the bells at the Cathedral, and the peacefulness of the precinct.

Excellent, polite, friendly and helpful service from all staff from the moment we arrived. Requested a room in a quiet part of the hotel and the room was peaceful, with comfy beds and bedding. Impressed by the breakfast selection - especially being included in the price - and the way there were a lot of staff present making sure everyone had what they needed and regularly refreshing all the buffet items.

Easy check in and out. Staff all very helpful and attentive, but not pushy. Great restaurant attached to the pub with vegan options. Rooms clean and well equipped. Car parking close to rooms. Location in the countryside, but close to main roads and Canterbury centre. Mostly quiet and peaceful stay.
