The property has sea and mountain views, and is 32 km from Benmore Botanic Garden. The country house also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

The cottage is beautiful. It is quirky and homely. We had a busy weekend at a family wedding and Fyne Byre Cottage was the perfect base. We were 3 generations of the same family and all found things to love about the cottage. Sam was the perfect host.

As the centre piece of Drimsynie Estate, this impressive hotel overlooks its own 9-hole golf course, plus Loch Goil and the Argyllshire mountains.

Onsite guests can find The View Bar and Restaurant – with panoramic views over Loch Goil - offers breakfast, lunch, snacks and a contemporary dinner menu, alongside daily specials, with children’s and takeaway menus also available.

I booked a room for my daughter and I to have a short drive (1.5 hrs) from Glasgow airport, not knowing the area was of such stunning beauty. We were so charmed by the area we had an early supper so we could have time to explore the beach and little community. Our room was in the main lodge had views of the loch, the beds were comfortable with good quality linens, bathroom elegant and well appointed, the lodge had large windows every to maximize the views, the staff were all friendly and helpful. What's NOT to like? This will on my list for a subsequent visit to Scotland.

The hotel is set in a beautiful location, quiet and yet conveniently positioned close to a main road. The deor is tasteful and the place looks cared for. Our room, 2a, was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had a separate shower cubicle and a great spa bath. A touch of luxury! All the food on offer was good plus there is a good choice of real ales.
