An award-winning, luxury bed and breakfast, Lindeth Fell Country House is set in an elegant Edwardian house with high ceilings and period features. It offers spacious, individually decorated rooms with Egyptian cotton sheets, an airy en suite bathroom, flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities. Many offer lake views.

The location is perfect not too far from city yet very calm. Everything was perfect. The rooms are spacious. The bed very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful. They took care of every single detail. We didn’t have to worry about anything.The food is delicious. A great place to spend your vacation. Highly recommended.

The reception on arrival and just a stunning beautiful house. This was an amazing place to visit and stay.

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. Set on high-ground the house overlooks Esthwaite Water and offers free parking.

Breakfast was excellent. We loved having afternoon tea and scones in the drawing room, and a refreshing cider served while we read. Books about Beatrix Potter and a sunny window seat to snuggle up and read were very much appreciated.

Nothing not to like about this place. Stunning location and beautiful property. This hotel is truly dog friendly when we arrived there was doggie treats and bowls in the room. We got to dine in one of their beautiful lounges with our dog for breakfast and dinner. THe food was lovely and staff were so friendly.

The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, providing personalized service that made us feel right at home. Each morning, we were greeted with a sumptuous breakfast that catered to all tastes, featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The room was beautifully appointed, with attention to detail that ensured a luxurious and restful experience. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts.     Location was great, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists but yet close enough to the amenities. It was quiet and peaceful, could sit outside looking at the view all day and become lost in your thoughts. Food was good and staff super friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

    It was close to the centre of Bowness yet in a quiet, peaceful location. Clean, spacious, well equipped room. Fridge, coffee machine, breakfast tray, ensuite, WiFi, spacious. Excellent stay for 3 of us in the family room. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

    Lovely cottage in a quiet peaceful area. Bedding and towels included so less baggage in the car. Gavel cottage has everything you need and more. The garden is a lovely place to have a pot of tea and some quiet time. we were able to see the lake from the garden. Lots of wildlife, beautiful birds which we fed everyday. Lovely memories to treasure.

    the most warmest of welcomes by a lovely gentleman, who was friendly and professional. the room was luxurious and comfortable with everything needed for a relaxing stay. the hotel was quiet and peaceful which made for a great nights sleep. breakfast was well organised, with efficient and polite service. the cooked breakfast was of good quality and all in all, I could not ask for more and would love to return.
