This property is a great place to go with your dog, they are warmly welcomed and allowed to roam around without leash but under supervision of course. There is a full bar and proper coffee served, breakfast is basic but the orange juice is fresh. There is a front courtyard with umbrellas and the rear courtyard and I'll point the main house sits on a lot of land which is great to walk around with your dog. There is a big swimming pool out back and fairly private. Our host recommended a restaurant in Luintra called Restaurante O Campanario and it was fantastic, it's run by an Irishman and his wife for 30 years.

The surroundings were amazing!! The river is next to the hotel and there are incredible paths to go hiking. The hosts were very friendly and made sure that we were comfortable there. They had a nice breakfast for 5€ which included a homemade cake and delicious toast. The breakfast room made you feel like you were in a cabin in the mountains. The window in the room was very big which made staying in on a rainy day a lovely experience. You could also see the morning fog roll through the mountains from bed. It was great!🥰
