We visited Casa Rural Higeralde 8 years ago with our dog. We loved it so much that we returned.The hotel has the most amazing view. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was delicious. The hotel is decorated in a unique way and has a lot of character. Great value for money.

What a beautiful place - deep in the countryside and yet only a 15 minute drive from the sea and the restaurants and the walled city of Hondarribia. Monica is an amazing host and switches seamlessly between languages. We were made to feel very welcome.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Unassuming hotel that turned out to be a great surprise. The room was very quiet, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The on-site free parking is a plus. However, the best part was the friendly, welcoming staff.
If you are not looking for luxury, this is a basic clean hotel with comfortable beds, clean rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Very close to the railway station and the Colon to Hendeye, France. Very easy to walk into the centre too. Excellent location for a one night stop. I have stayed here three times and me been disappointed.

We chose the location as part of our road trip from Uk to Portugal.. perfectly positioned as an overnight stop. The suite had everything we needed and even thoughtfully welcomed our dog. Romy was super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Cleanliness perfect. Everything modern, including our own Netflix! Best thing?? The bed! Huge with luxury sheets… like sleeping in a cloud. Romy and Jesus were fantastic hosts, and their apartment is clean, comfortable, brilliantly equipped with lots of thoughtful touches such as a fridge stocked with essentials and home-made jams. The location and setting are great. Right in the heart of the town but quiet and peaceful overlooking a lovely garden and with views of the mountains. I was made to feel really welcome, and the hosts went out of their way to be flexible and helpful. Highly recommended.
