Super friendly welcome from Madalena, she was responsive to our requests and cooked us a lovely evening meal. Great breakfast, all fresh local produce.
A guest kitchen meant you could prepare you own food and drinks. We didn't take advantage of this, but perhaps next time 😉

We were made extremely welcome from our arrival to leaving, a good experience. We had use of a private bathroom, kitchen and large gardens, it is in a peaceful area with mountains in the back ground. I would definitely recommend staying here.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Location of the apartment is great, especially for hiking. The apartment looks better than on the photos. It's really nice and quiet and had everything we needed. The host was extremely nice and helpful. The village is very clean and beautiful. It's best to have a car. This way you can drive to different places nearby and have amazing hikes. There are mountains pretty much everywhere you look and the lake nearby looks amazing. We were there in May and the mountains nearby were pretty much empty so we could really enjoy the nature.
The location in the hills is quiet and relaxing but all the action closer to the coast is easily accessible. Great running and cycling from the house in the morning. Loved the orange and lemon trees and the park for my two daughters was priceless! Despite arriving late Juanjo welcomed us and gave us the full tour and let me practice my awful Spanish! Thank you for a great stay!
The location is very beautiful and peaceful. Excellent for visiting local spots and great beaches. The place was perfect for our group of three families with children as the kids enjoyed the pool, the play area (trampoline/table tennis), and the grass area. The barbecue area is great. The host family could not be better in terms of welcoming us and even allowing us to pick fruit and vegetables from their crop.
Beautiful location, peaceful best sleep there, so quiet and bed extremely comfortable. Wish I could have stayed longer. The host was so friendly and helpful and it was very nice to meet someone like that at the start of a holiday and the little treats in the apartment are a simple but lovely touch and surprise.
Everything. The people, the location, the facilities, the view. It was all incredible. I'd really recommend staying in Guadalest because you get to see the castle and lake without all the crowds. The town is obviously quiet at night so having a lovely apartment was amazing. The TV was huge with everything you needed, even a jacuzzi bath. Loved it.
Beautiful and peaceful setting. Great hosts that made us feel at home. The fireplace was lit when we arrived. They brought us lots of oranges, lemon and avocados from their own yards. We travelled with small kids and this was a Perfect place for kids. They loved the playground and if the weather had been better they would have loved the pool.
