Loved our stay there. The location was excellent. The village peaceful, charming and clean. The people really nice. The hosts took us to the ticket office of Great wall and came to pick us up- we also arranged with them the transportation to airport going back. They were really adorable and sweet. Highly recommended - as mentioned in the other posts, language was not a real issue. We all managed to communicate and had an incredible stay.

Superb location within the Mutianyu scenic area. The rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. Toilet and shower were great too. The best part of the stay was the warm hospitality of the hosts…they helped us organise our tickets and sent us to the Great Wall and back. The included home style dinner and breakfast were also super tasty. Wifi was strong throughout the property
Contacts with the house keeper before our stay made our arrival very easy. The house was very comfortable, a nice blend of authentic traditional architecture and modern equipment. Lots of nice details. Location is perfect for a weekend getaway, very quiet village and nice hikes around. Our hostess was discreet, very welcoming and gave us lots of useful info. We had a wonderful time and hope we can stay again.

They provide hiking routes, and there are signs everywhere along the hiking path so you can hike on your own.
The staffs are very helpful and friendly. It was a perfect short getaway from Beijing. We will definitely come back!
