After a delightful journey, we arrived late at night to find a cozy fireplace, a well-stocked kitchen with hot beverages and complimentary milk, which was a lifesaver since we forgot our own. Waking up to the serene beauty of the pond was like a dream, with ample firewood, heaters, magazines, and games adding to the perfect ambiance. This remarkable, romantic stay was truly surreal—thank you, and we can't wait to return!
The cottage was cosy and comfy. We loved the outlook towards the mountains in the distance. Wisdom, the host, was an absolute star. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We loved having a fireplace - even in January. A fire was lit every night. We loved the dogs visiting. And the cat. It was great having the horses on the property too. We enjoyed the tranquility and nearby walks.
Beautiful farm, gorgeous views, Stone Cottage was perfect for family of 4. Very homely, luxurious and comfortable. We had absolutely everything we needed. Fishing was a bonus - jumping trout teased and eluded me, but another fisherman caught quite a few. It rained while we were there and there was heavy mist, but it only added to the charm and cosyness we felt. We'll definitely be back.
Bergview Cottage is gem of a place. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a fireplace in each room. All 4 rooms also have an en-suite bathroom. It is a quiet , idyllic, beautiful cottage. Cozy and comfortable. I was so impressed with the daily towel “art” on our beds!!!!
We loved the Hot Tub, Double Shower, huge kitchen, flat-screen TV and comfy bed. Fireplace was most welcome, made unit feel warm and cozy.
The property provided us with a tranquil getaway which far removed us from everyday life. The cottage was comfortable, clean and cozy. On the colder evening we were able to enjoy some time in front of the fireplace and on the sunnier days we were able to take the short walk down to the river. Janice was incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

The views were breathtaking and spectacular. The hosts were kind and friendly. The quaint cosy setting of the cottage with a charming fireplace, balcony for viewing, authentic pieces of furniture. The bathroom was spacious and idealic. The bed was comfy and massive. The kitchen was well equipped. The reading and viewing room is a grand design feature and is the dream for an avid reader and day dreamer. Rainbows are spotted every now and then.
