We loved the character of the cottages, the up cycled furniture, the fire pit and games which were available. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable.. It was quiet too at night.

I liked everything about the property. I loved the privacy that each unit gave. The room was super romantic and provided everything that we needed. Hard to find a place with a separate hot tub!
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the cabin we stayed in had a fully functional fire place with instructions on how to safely use it. The cabin was very pleasant and felt very cozy and relaxing. It's location was only 5 minutes away from downtown Freeport. All the cabins are private cabins and the proprietors are very kind and helpful.
Location was perfect, very close to Kennebunkport. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The overall structure with all the cottage around garden and pool is very beautiful. The cottage was very cozy and clean. The cottage is very small but this was not a problem for us. Breakfast provided directly at the cottage door in the morning.
We always beeline for the Maine Idyll as our vacation doesn't truly begin until we get to this wonderful spot. The facilities , here, match exactly the pace that we set for our vacations in Maine. We stay at the Idyll every time we pass through the Freeport area. The rustic cabins each have a little fireplace and are always immaculately kept. The location, on Rt 1, just north of Freeport is the perfect spot to get off the interstate and start exploring the magnificent Maine Coast!
Cottage was so cute and cozy. We had a yummy cocktail at check-in. The property had vintage vibes and was well maintained. Bed was extra comfy and had lots of breakfast treats to choose from. Def going to stay again!
These were adorable little cottages right outside of town. Very nice setting. They were clean and our cabin had outside grill and kitchen if you wished to cook which I did not. Would stay here again. Very nice and quiet setting.
Rustic restored little cabins, quiet, clean, comfortable, everything you need for a base.
Good location 5 minute walk to beach but street can be noisy. Small but cozy cabin with private backyard and hot tub. Host was very responsive and easy to reach. Basic amenities and cleanliness. Main bed was comfortable. There are twin mattresses in an upper area which I would only recommend for kids.
