Almost everything was great. Check-in was flawless, the owner lady is very helpful. She doesn't speak very good english, but we didn't have problems with understanding each other. The cabin was clean and everything was functional except a few things.
The views from this cabin are the best from all the buildings on Solberget.
The cabin is 6km from the village of Olden and it's relatively far from all the attractions, so you have to have a car or carefully plan your bus trips. It's not impossible, but not very comfortable.
There is a bus connecting the whole Oldedalen on schooldays.

The cabin was in a very scenic location. While close to the lodge and glacier and campground, it was separate and private.

beautiful place, next to the beautiful olden lake. there are boats and safe jackets for guests to use and it's free of charge communication is clear and we can get all the help we needed. we were not aware that bed linen needed to be rented for extra charge and it seems that this is a norm in norway camping sites. the camp owner emailed us earlier and prepared everything. we stayed in a cozy cabin and really worth for money.
Very cozy cabin with kitchen, even a dishwasher! Everything seems new and stylish. It's quiet (in June), the campground got a great view. Homemade pastries in the Reception. We had a perfect time!
Fantastic location! Nestled in the valley and surrounded by mountains with waterfalls and stunning scenery all around. The Briksdal glacier hike trail is a 10 min walk from the property. The owners also serve up breakfast and dinner (upon request). The cabin (Trollbu) is cozy and has a kitchen with amenities and a newly refurbished bathroom. The beds on the first floor are warm and comfortable. All in all an ideal place to base yourself and explore the surrounding areas around Olden.
Cute little cabin in the middle of nature. We were here during off season so the owner let us use the bikes for free. We were able to explore the little book town 10 min away by bike and the supphellebreen glacier viewpoint which took us about an hour to get to by bike. We also visited the Bøyabreen glacier view point by public transport so traveling here without a car is not an issue! The private cabin was clean and cozy and the host super nice and informative. We’d recommend this to everyone who enjoys some down time in nature.
Super beautiful, cosy and comfortable cabin, the interior was just as stunning as the outside. The location is also very scenic so is the drive there and it's perfectly situated for hiking to the Briksdalbreen glacier. We sadly only stayed for one night but would have loved to enjoy this cabin for a longer time, it had all we needed and everything worked well, the shower was great in terms of water temperature and pressure. Would come back any time!
Camping located very close to the fiord. Great spot if you like fishing. We had nice cozy hytte. Very clean camping. Its located near the road but it was very quiet inside the cabin. Personel was very kind and helpful.
The location rocks. The place is right in a valley, at the end of it, between two huge and steep mountain ranges. It is very cozy, let me say romantic. At the end of the so-called backyard, there is an almost own huge waterfall cascade with lots of raspberry bushes, a jacuzzi, and a sauna. Okay, we did not use them but we could have. And I have never had such a gorgeous view of my room.
