We had been to Voss before, in various seasons. It is a vast region with many different ski options, rivers and trails. This lovely classical cabin is tucked away in between two rivers running through its plot. From inside the cabin we overlooked waterfalls and stunning mountain slopes and peaks (1100-1400m). We absolutely loved the setting, friendly staff and hope to return for a proper skiing holiday. 😊🏔

A nice stream going by the house. 1 km upstream there was a great location with small falls and pools for taking a cold dip. 10 min with a bus or car gets you up onto the mountain plateau with great walks and views! We were there in early April and could walk around on the snow crust. Others were skiing.

The cabin is very well equipped and we liked all the small instructions which help you to feel at home immediately. Also the host very super friendly and easily reachable. We were very tired when we arrived and more than happy to find some „rescue“ food we could use. Thanx to the hosts for making our amazing Norway journey even better!

Everything!!! Let's start with the location. The cabin is on the water's edge and surrounded by huge and amazing mountains. Every morning we open with a breathtaking view. The owners, Fred and Irene (hope I spelled it right), kindly explained and helped (thanks for the pancakes). The place is also a kind of junction for many places and sites in the vicinity. Mountains with snow (we were in March) or lakes and fjords full of water. It was one of the most beautiful vacations I've ever had. Thanks :)

She was full of historical information regarding the area and knew of currents events to help navigate us on our quest. She is also an amazing chef, her fish soup was to die for! We wish her well in her endeavors with the historical property!
