Walking distance to several restaurants and the sea and port but just behind so very peaceful. Undercover parking for the car was excellent considering the heat.The hosts mother met us with the keys and showed us how everything worked and was very helpful and welcoming. The fridge was stocked with local goodies including a large pot of honey and bread and cold cuts of meat etc.Everything looked very new and clean and well thought out. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with bottled water and plenty of working appliances (kettle/toaster etc}. All the bedrooms had air-conditioning with lovely bed linen and well fitting windows with metal screens to stop bugs. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and showers worked well. A washing machine was supplied. We booked and prepaid for four nights based on boat schedules on the internet. When we arrived on Kea we found the boat we had planned to take, to catch our plane at Athen's airport, did not exist so we had to cancel our last night and leave early. We informed our host as soon as possible and he agreed to refund us half of the last days charge and we could stay in the property until the evening (check out time normally 11am) when we caught the last ferry. Which we thought was fair.

Beds are very comfortable and you can also relax on the terrace enjoying the countryside around you. I enjoyed the SILENCE around us. Nadia, the owner was also very nice and gave us several advice on restaurants, beaches, shops. Kea island is not famous as islands in the Cyclade but it is really a nice island when you want to avoid crowds.

Decoration cleaningness and the hostess were superb. it’s highly recommended property for staying some steps away from Ioulida and with central location to visit the whole island. Private parking is available as well which is quite a problem if you would like to visit the Chora of Kea.
