I have stayed at Balmoral Lodge Hotel a few times now. I arrived on the Tuesday and was met with a friendly smile. I was given a room on the ground floor which was very helpful. The breakfast was served with a lot of love and great choices . The good thing about were the Hotel is . There's a bus stop just outside the door. The weather was very cold but the room was cosy and hot. Leaving is always a sad time. So I've booked for 4 nights at the new year.
The location was lovely! As was the owner! I arrived with my friends to celebrate my birthday, and the owner brought us over a bottle of bubbly! The pool was right next to our cottage which was a bonus, and it felt so homely and cosy!! Would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful cottage, quiet, peaceful stay, liked everything about it, clean, provides everything you need, cosy at night, hot tub, seating area and private. I took my parter away for his birthday, the host was kind enough to put birthday banners up prior to our arrival, even left a chocolate orange (my favorite) me and my partner actually said we could live there, it was that perfect. Village was so lovely, great pub the seven stars a 3 minute walk, great food in there too!

Fantastic little getaway, beautiful grounds lots of character! We stayed in house keepers cottage as a family of 5, lots of room, clean and comfy beds and fantastic hot tub. Only thing we missed was a living room with a sofa, but it's a small thing for a short stay and plenty of room in a spacious kitchen/ diner to sit together and watch tv. Location is perfect lots for a family to see and do, we were lucky with gorgeous weather! Staff were lovely and helpful. No complaints.
The cottage was very cosy, homely and inviting. Very comfy beds and lovely modern en-suite. Great hot tub
