We opened the doors to wonderful old world charm, it was roomy, with a modern kitchen and bathroom, upstairs we found a king size bed which was luscious. In the kitchen we found these wonderful surprises, a beautiful cob loaf, some Welsh cookies, jams and butters which were absolutely delicious and a number of small packets of cereals and in the fridge a bottle of milk and a large carton of orange juice . A warm heater in the lounge which looked like an open fire added to the lovely ambiance. In the the backyard we discovered another wonderful surprise, including a well equipped laundry room. So fellow travelers if you wanting to stay in Llandovery I REALLY SUGGEST YOU STAY HERE, we stayed for 3 days and wished we had booked a week, finally the price was very reasonable. thank you so much to our lovely hosts, from we travelers from Australia.

This holiday home features a garden. fantastic property in a fantastic location. Host supplied everything necessary for our stay - including croissants for breakfast! The property is a fabulous old (17th century?) house with a small back yard. Watch your head! The town of Hay-on Wye is delightful - full of bookshops, antique shops, lovely places to eat and great walks. 22 Castle Street is right in the middle of the action.

Ideally located a little outside of Abergavenny and therefore very quiet and practical for discovering all interesting places. Carol is an exceptional host making sure that our stay was just perfect. Why go to a five star hotel when you can stay at Hardwick farm instead? Our room had all the amenities and more. The home cooked breakfast was great and plentiful. The king bed was comfy and huge. Carol made up the room every day, supplied us with water and welsh cakes.
