Offering a garden and garden view, Cosy Country Cottage; Brecon Beacons is situated in Crickhowell, 28 km from Clifford Castle and 32 km from Longtown Castle. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 21 km from Brecon Cathedral.

All modern facilities catered for. Kitchen is small but there is very good use of the space including a range for cooking, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, washing machine. Kitchen fully equipped with cutlery, pots, pans, glassware and crockery. Sounds crowded, but the use of space means it isn't. Very well planned cottage, and will take some ideas away for my own property. Hosts are really friendly and accessible when I had any questions about recycling, etc. Bed was comfortable and I struggled in the arms of Morpheus most mornings to get out! Wonderful views across the valley. Magical when the snow was on the mountain tops and it felt like spring at the cottage.

The owners were very kind. They lit up the fireplace before we arrived so the cottage was warm and cozy. My daughter absolutely loved meeting the hosts and petting the Pygmy goats. Thanks so much for hosting us!

The cottage is very well built and extremely clean. It feels very cosy even on rainy days with underfloor heating and wood burner. Interior and garden are beautifully designed. Sheeps are roaming around next to garden on the hill and sometimes a hare comes to visit. The owner and his daughter are very nice to show us their cute pygmy goat kids. We were really lucky to choose this cottage and it was a great holiday for us to stay. Definitely highly recommend!

The location was very remote which was perfect for our relaxing break, they are beautiful views from every window and lovely walks from the cottage. It was spotlessly clean and every little thing in the kitchen had been thought of. The property was very warm and cosy considering how old it was outside. The directions were spot on and the location description and narrow warning were accurate. we were in a large family estate car and had no issues getting in and out every day.

Beautifully renovated Welsh Longhouse renovated by the family who have occupied it since 1940. A stunning view of the Black Mountains and the local valley as it is at a good height. Cosy, comfortable and clean. It was perfect for us as isolated and has walks from the front door - we did two and recommend you find the Chartist’s cave. The Red Lion at bottom of the hill is a great local and v welcoming if need refreshment but tbh we found it hard to drag ourselves away from this fabulous cottage and countryside. Logs and Welsh cakes supplied too

The location was superb with views over the Brecon Beacons national park. Lovely garden where you can sit out, admire the views and watch the variety of small birds feeding from the numerous bird feeders. The cottage is very spacious and the two bedrooms had there own bathroom, with a bath, a separate shower and toilet facilities. A large kitchen with everything you would need.

Perfect cottage for us - 10 minutes up a steep road/track gives you the most beautiful views and a complete sense of being away from it all. Very well equipped, beautifully planted garden, birds everywhere, and excellent walking from the door. Also plenty to do a short drive away. Owners were great - lovely homemade Welshcakes!! Highly recommended
