There is also a pair of modest outdoor bar/restaurants a short walk away for watching the sunset or looking at the lights of Manizales.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Salamina, Casa típica Salamineña features a garden. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. Free WiFi is at guests' disposal throughout the property. Perfect for our group of 4 families. There was lots of space, it was very clean, great location, and quiet at night. Juan Carlos was very helpful with everything. We would be happy to stay there again.

One example: every breakfast we were sitting outside on the terrace and saw the hummingbirds nipping at the flowers in the tree, just 5 meters ahead. The bungalow is located 50 m down the road and therfore very quiet. Even if it rains, you can sit on the covered terrace and overlook the beautiful garden or pond.

We stayed 3 nights in one of the little bungalows with an amazing view, even from the shower. We really loved our stay. The location is great, in the middle of nature, but if you want to go to Manizales you can take a bus not far away and go. I also recommend having dinner in the lodge as the food was delicious. The veggie Lasagne was one of the best I ever had! We will definitely come back, when we get a chance.

We stayed in the lodge. We booked the meal and it was great. Super clean hotel, nice pool, nice breakfast. The staff was really nice. We did a coffee tour (super interesting), and there are many walks (lots of birds) to do around with amazing views. Would definitely come back!
We stayed in both the hostel and the lodge,very different reviews for both areas. LODGE We really enjoyed this,the hacienda is stunning,completely surrounded by nature. Dinner was delicious and was in a very homely setting. The coffee tour was worth it and very informative. The staff were very helpful and booked our buses/taxis. The hacienda was definitely one of my favourite stays in all of Colombia.

Beautiful views and gardens. Nice food (breakfast and dinner). Cabin had a good kitchen with refrigerator, balcony with chairs/table and hammock. Nice to meet other guests and chat over a shared dinner.
The hotel is charming and historic in a great location a couple blocks from the central plaza and cathedral. Jaime the owner is the best host in the world. He offered us a room upgrade at no extra cost because a party had cancelled. The shower was the best of our two months in Colombia. There was such charming care provided as we were served a delicious breakfast each morning.
