Very nice little bungalow, well located on Bruny Island, close to Pingouins and other places of interest. Bungalow is well equipped, including breakfast ready in the fridge and expresso coffee machine as well as a well stocked cupboard with some small necessities helpful for cooking dinner. Very accommodating host!

I had one of the Glamping units overlooking the sea. No toilet but the price to pay for the perfect position! Absolutely gorgeous and you could hear the sound of the waves at night. That is, obviously if you weren't foolish enough to put on your air-conditioning! I saw the penguins come out of the sea and waddle up the hill. Make sure you have the red torch and do not do not do not shine the white torch on them as it disorientates them. I stayed until 11 at night watching them as I was so mesmerized. What a fabulous amazing place this is. Book at least two nights .

The owner, Rod, was extremely friendly and very helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The farm and surrounding scenery were just beautiful and we would take long walks in the afternoon and evening, accompanied by one of their dogs. We had a chicken hang out near our back door and the cows at times were close by as well. Rod took us into the field to brush the Highland cattle, which we really enjoyed. The views of the hills, the bay and parts of the Port Arthur historic site were just gorgeous. We would definitely stay at Ruby‘s cottage again.

Dragonfly Lodge is a large extremely comfortable house in an idyllic location. There are three luxurious bedrooms, each with a huge ensuite. The living room and kitchen areas are spacious, with floor to ceiling glass windows allowing a panoramic view of the east coast of Tasmania. The sunrises were magnificent. The centrally located wood fueled fireplace was used every night we were there. It was the icing on the cake.
Really cosy and warm little cabin that was exactly what we needed for the night. Was a home away from home, and although freezing temperatures outside, the fireplace and warm bedding was amazing and kept us warm.
The Cottage was a cosy setup, we loved the collection of books and DVDs, The fireplace just added to the ambience. The rooms were warm and comfortable and all of us slept well. The outdoor setup was great too, it was nice to have breakfast on the wooden table outside in the crisp clear spring morning!
We stayed in one of the new cabins. All was certainly spotless and well appointed, the bed was comfortable. Snow fell overnight and the surrounds, although still a building site, made the area look beautiful. The heat pump keep us warm, but the “fireplace” wasn’t connected, so the cosy cabin feel we were after, was lost.
Beautifully restored heritage property that retains plenty of original charm. Right on the main street, you can walk to everything and includes an amazing breakfast spread. Room was cosy and warm with thoughtful extras and a lovely new ensuite. Owners have great knowledge of the area and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great.
We had a cosy cottage surrounded by trees and bushes. The wood fire came with easy, helpful instructions and kept the cottage warm. The kitchen was well equipped for self catering. It was in easy walking distance of the shuttle bus for Cradle Mountain, which was next to the visitors centre. We had a warm welcome on check in. We will stay there again whenever we visit the area.

Gorgeous place, friendly and cosy, wanted to stay longer. Unbelievable to think you are so close to Hobart and yet so remote. The farm pod was equipped to a very high standard and sitting in the wood fired hot tub in the countryside was so lovely. Breakfast was provided and the hosts have thought of everything. An absolute pleasure.
Loved the Camelot cottage and our hosts Tom, Bec and Sarah were very accommodating. Sitting by the fire with a glass of red was a highlight. Bed was awesome. Breakfast was to die for. Sitting outside in the lovely cottage garden with a glass of wine was a great way to unwind after our drive
Amazing location with numerous walking tracks commencing from the lodge itself. Also has a resident wombat that happily chomps on grass around dinnertime. I stayed in a cozy cabin with a fireplace, and had a view overlooking a little pond and the lodge. Professional staff, always warm and friendly. Had both a three course dinner and the buffet breakfast, both of which with were pretty decent. There is also an adjoining tavern which serves up pub standards.
