I stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin for 2 nights and it lacked for nothing right down to the herbs & spices in the kitchen and throw blankets on the couch. The cabin comforts are only surpassed by the views of the surrounding countryside. So do yourself a favour you will not be disappointed.

Built in early 2016 and situated on a private 31-acre property, this rural retreat is located in Gheerula, 9 km from the historic township of Kenilworth. Free private parking is available on site. The Sunshine Coast beaches are a 40-minute drive from the property. We felt so privileged to have someone open their home for our little honeymoon. The facilities were excellent, location was secluded yet easily accessible. We didn't hear any noise at all during our stay. We are definitely going to become regular visitors of this place.

Whispering Valley Retreat is 15 minutes' drive from Maleny's town centre and Settlers Rise Vineyard & Winery. It is 20 minutes' drive from Montville and 40 minutes' from Mapleton Falls National Park. the timber cottage was nestled in a hillside overlooking rainforest. other cabins where nearby, but out of sight and sound. with a fireplace, spa, king size bed and balcony it felt secluded, intimate, and calming - perfect for resetting and restoring. we were also treated to a thunderstorm, drifting off to sleep with the sound of rain on the roof and frogs in the distance.
