The hosts, Jaco and Amore, communicated well from the start of the booking process until we checked out. Jaco was friendly and welcoming,the house looks even better in-person and it has everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Needless to say the cottage was very clean and tidy, the decor was tastefully done, and the braai area and indoor fireplace added to the cosy ambiance, especially on an icy, cold winter's night.
A definite new favourite in Yzerfontein. Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you :)
We loved everything! This cozy gem is situated in a very safe neighborhood , the cottage was very neat, spacious and very tranquil, it catered for all our needs and expectations. The private host was very polite, he even shared routes to complete, if interested. Will definitely be visiting soon, this time for a much longer stay 🤍
Nice little town at the ocean. We stayed in the two bedroom self-catering cottage which was nice, clean and cozy. The staff was absolutely friendly and helpful.
Gorgeous location, peaceful, direct beach access, amazing pool and views. Comfy lounge with a big fireplace and ample seating for everyone, well equipped kitchen.

Good location near the beach. Nice little garden with a plunge pool. Facilities to braai on both sides of the house. Kitchen was well equipped and had a gas oven and stove which helped with load shedding. Cosy fireplace inside. Lovely town with lovely restaurants. Pizza place next door
Nice small cottage with very good value for money. The room had two single beds, attached bath room and a fireplace. The fridge was stocked with complimentary water as well as milk for the tea and coffee you can brew with the equipment provided. On request they happily provided wood for the fireplace, which is very nice during load shedding. Parking is right infront. Breakfast is in their restaurant which is also open to everyone. Everyone from their team was very welcoming and friendly.
We had a wonderful stay at 21 On Bakoond! Excellent location with a quick romantic stroll to idyllic wooden walkways on the beach and some of the best sunsets we've seen! The facilities are top class and Edith is a fantastic host - she goes beyond what you expect and it feels like you leave as family after the trip. We will definitely try to visit again soon!
The views are exceptional. The house had everything we required and more. We loved the two fireplaces and indoor braai which kept the house warm and cosy during the evenings.
