This was our second visit. White Water is beautiful farm close to Stanford. It is quiet and offers more than the average farm stay. The pool is huge and the farmhouse was well appointed and beautifully decorated. It came with 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms. The friendly staff delivers a fresh breakfast basket every morning that contains very nice produce from the area.

What a little gem in such a great location in Stanford. Andy and Sally were so helpful and friendly - Andy even left watching the rugby at a restaurant to let us in! So comfortable with everything you need. Highly recommended. We will be back.

The house can accommodate a large group, and has a large living /kitchen area, with plenty of crockery, glasses, etc. The kitchen has all new appliances, which were a real treat to use. There was a lovely indoor fireplace. The beds and bedding were very comfortable!!

Everything was perfect, it's a very well kitted out cottage and loved the welcome basket upon arrival. We went in winter but it was surprisingly warm inside the eco cottage and so lovely to have the hot tub. I can't wait to come back!
Everything. Loved the hot tub, loved the morning breakfast basket that gets dropped at the cottage. It’s full and contains everything you need to make a good breakfast. The bathrooms are clean and neat. Bedrooms are clean and neat. The braai and indoor fire place is everything 🥰 also the river was nice- we went kayaking in the river
Beautiful attention to detail everywhere! From the basket of fresh produce to the freshly picked flowers by our bedside. We loved the rustic and charming feel of the lodge and the views from the vernadah, not to mention the warm hot tub!
Well appointed self catering bungalow with good quality kitchen equipment/beds/linen, etc. Groundsman (Mathews) helpful & friendly and dog Benson got on fine with our pup.
Super nice young farm, with lovely decorated cottages with wood-fired KolKol hottubs. We loved the breakfast, it's all so nice and charming at this farm. We could use the SUP and canoes at the water, but the wind was a bit too strong when we were there. But great vibes, amazing view, good location to explore Stanford / Hermanus area :-)
Beautiful setting and lovely comfortable cottage. So many things to like - Rivergate did not disappoint - the tasty food baskets, friendly farm animals, massage, and hot tub added to a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back.
Amazing property on stunning grounds with panoramic views of the countryside. The cottages are very charming and the on-site restaurant looks fantastic (sadly it was closed for dinner on the night of our stay, which was the only disappointment).
Beautiful scenery, the tents are perfectly layed out, with everything one needs to enjoy a great self catering experience. Clean and cozy. Loved that there was aircon, a fireplace, and electric blankets, such a spoil in winter. Brenda and her team are awesome! Thanks, we will definately be back!
We stayed in the charming, romantic Fisherman's cottage and loved it. A very tranquil setting with mountain views and a frog chorus at night. Its a short walk to the wine bar for wine tasting, dinner and the substantial 3 course breakfast. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.
