As an architect I enjoyed the heritage that the building had to offer while having a modern touch to the interior. The elevated view of Kalk Bay and all the area has to offer was also so breathtaking.
The word perfect comes to mind. It is a quaint cottage with everything you need. It was super clean and all the amenities you can think of are available. The view on the ocean is superb and the beds are comfortable. We had an issue with electricity that was out and within a couple of minutes of reporting it, the issue was resolved. The staff is excellent. I cannot recommend this cottage enough. Such a perfect stay in the most beautiful Kalk Bay
Absolutely perfect location in beautiful Kalk Bay. Walking distance to the harbour and restaurants. The cottage is one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed - furnished to a very high standard and extremely well-equipped. Stunning decor. Wish we could stay longer!!
Characterful cottage exuding all the charm of old Kalk Bay! Quality modernised, well-equipped interior finishes with wood burning stove for winter evenings. Fresh fruits, coffee pods, tea and other basics provided. A multitude of excellent eateries and harbour within walking distance.
The staff was superb, attentive, friendly, and helpful. I loved the twin room I stayed in. It was cosy but spacious, and the bathroom was heaven. Everything was just where you needed it. And they even had plant-based milk for me. What a find!
Attention to details !! Superb , little extras like yogurt and eggs and fruit provided. Abundance of towels, linen and bed so comfortable. Wood was provided for fireplace and Morso fireplace was stunning as we had rain and was chilly.
What an amazing space in an amazing location. Such a treat to wake up to the sunrise and watch the sunset over the beautiful coastal view. We loved going for a run every morning and stopping for breakfast in Kalk Bay. The town is absolutely charming and everyone so friendly and we were spoilt for choice when it came to shopping or grabbing a bite to eat.
