Absolutely GORGEOUS place!!!! 😍 As soon as I walked in, it was welcoming and comfortable!!!! Clean as a pin!!! A wonderful eclectic collection of decorations that went great together!!! Plenty of space and hot water! Jon was an absolute pleasure to work with and he had all the news on what was going on to do! I went for the casino and didn't want to leave the cabin!!!! Im going back for Thanksgiving and taking the family!

It was a beautiful place! Very quiet and peaceful. Anne and Chris greeted us with a smile and checked in with us while doing their morning chores to make sure we were still enjoying everything. Hot tub was a big bonus! We would definitely book here again...just for longer next time.

10 out 10 is not a high enough rating for this retreat. Canoe and fishing poles furnished for a day of fishing on this beautiful pond with a relaxing waterfall. Afterwards making s’mores by a cozy fire pit. Watching TV while relaxing in the hot tub. (Did I mention the robes and hottub cabinet fully stocked with towels) We played family games, cards, jenga, after playing pool and singing karaoke. I was amazed by the super soft mattresses and slept better than being at home. The host has even thought of little ones, crib and high chair and toddler dishes furnished. Air mattresses, plus the lovely furniture in the living room ( a total of 6 recliners. Everything I mentioned the host has furnished, the s’mores bar, an amazing variety for a coffee bar, the board games, fishing poles. Literally relax and only bring food and clothes.. This host has thought of everything to make for a worry free relaxing stay. Ohhh and the covers galore. Nice quality soft comfy blankets and throws. Doordash for groceries is also available but yet this retreat is remote. If thinking about staying in this area this property will not disappoint.

Location was beautiful though a bit challenging to drive to in rain. Also very convenient for the actcivities we had planned near Cherokee and Bryson City. The house was clean, fresh, and well-equipped, and the appliances were pristine. We loved the way the owners had supplied photographs of places they loved (local and otherwise) on the walls, as if we were finding little helpful notes here and there. The bottle of wine on arrival was a marvelous idea that we really appreciated.

The kids loved fishing from the backyard and we loved being in the mountains. It is close to the Cherokee entrance to the Smokies and we went hiking and fishing there daily.

The property was like a dream. Lots of "mountain things" to do at the cabin. The stream in front of the cabin was so peaceful and fun to play in. We made campfires, used the swings/hammocks, and roasted hot dogs, and made s'mores.
