We stayed for one night with four people in one of the small cottages at Bar Harbor Cottages & Suites, and it was a wonderful experience. The cottage was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Joe, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Next time, we’d likely book two cottages or opt for a larger one since it was a bit tight with four of us, but that’s just a note for larger groups! Overall, the price-to-value ratio is excellent, and we’d happily stay here again.

The cabins were small but comfortable, and they were decorated with fun and quaint artworks and objects, such as oars, that related to the ambience of the rugged and watery coastline of Maine. The cottages were both very near the town of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park without being of the touristy hustle-bustle of those places. The cottages sat amidst a lovely and lush setting of trees and lawns; this felt like Maine.
Clean (I am picky and the place was clean). Comfortable beds. Stayed in a cottage which was quiet and had updated bathroom. AC and ceiling fans made it comfortable in the hot summer. Plenty of towels. Cozy, camp cabin feeling.
We loved the cottage and the area. We loved the location. Very close to Acadia national park and the town of Bar Harbor. Joe the owner does all the effort to make his guests comfterbl. We BBQ on the lawn just in front of the cabin. Everything you need for BBQ is supplied by the owner. Great Place! Would definitely recommend!!
Very cosy room with everything we needed. Even without direct view to the bay we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. We loved the gorgeous pool and hot tub and we enjoyed an awesome breakfast with an amazing view to the sea.
It was easy to walk to downtown.
Parking lot was directly in front of the room.
Cute cottages, conveniently located by Acadia Park and town. we booked two cabins, one smelled a bit off, musty odor, but was very clean. great communication from staff prior to check in
