The host and his communications was exceptional ( above and beyond ) during all my travel experiences ( +20 countries ) I haven’t met a family / host as nice as this host.
He offered to come to the airport which is not far from the location ( 10 min drive ) to help with the luggage with his personal pick-up car to avoid dealing with the taxi drivers and drove the luggage back to the airport in the morning.
Its my first time staying outside of the city centre and will never go back to the city centre if i can manage to book with him again

The location of the property is very strategic, near to shops and resraurants. Everything was so walkable, with a nearby supermarket. It is clean and charming, with a combination of the new and old. The kitchen is very well equipped and the host was lovely, accommodating, and helpful!
Dar el Medina is the perfect place to discover the historic Tunis. Quite alleys, cosy coffee shops, a soukh with spices and sweets or downtown, whatever you need or want it's nearby. The room was comfortable, the staff very helpful, the breakfast very delicious. Don't miss out a cool drink on the rooftop. Thanks for a marvelous stay
Great and attentive staff always ready to help and give information. It is located in the most charming street inside the medina, very close to the mosque.
The host Jafou was incredible, he is very knowledgeable of the area and will take you to key places, he was my personal tour guide. The room was quiet and the bed I had was very comfortable. The location is in the Medina area so that is pretty cool. Anything I needed Jafou was willing to make it right, provided free bottled water, USB power block so I could charge my phone. Provided towels, and luggage cabinet in the room.

Ideally located in a narrow street near the train station, the main avenue of Tunis (Av. Habib Bourguiba) and the medina, the hotel occupies an old building carefully restored, and with a pleasant terrace on the roof. The room was perfectly clean and the bed, quite comfortable. The wi-fi and the AC worked perfectly. The breakfast (in the lounge downstairs) was every day the same, but more than sufficient and tasty. The staff was gentle and very helpful, and there was water, tea and coffee freely available at any time.

The most charming place in the whole of old Tunis. The owner is an art collector and the house is full og colour and elegance and cosyness. The staff is super-nice and friendly. We enjoyed all four nights there!
