I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Roça Vale dos Prazeres! From the moment I arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, arranging my airport transfer, providing a local SIM card, and even organizing a car rental, which made my trip so much smoother.
The property itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings that offer a true sense of peace and relaxation. The food was absolutely delicious! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and made with care.

Welfare Agroturismo was part of the São Tomé round trip I have made with my girlfriend. The hotel is small (5 rooms only) and quite remote, but surrounded by beautiful nature. It has a very beautiful garden full of flowers, vanilla, fruits… and there are several options for tours to explore the center of the island (visit of Monte Cafe and Jardim Botanico de Bom Sucesso; hike to Lagoa Amelia; or you just start a hike along the old paths directly from the agroturismo).
The hosts are so lovely and great cooks. Especially the dinners were really great and diverse.
I would definitely come back again!

We had a great stay at Roca Sao dos Angolares. Great location with stunning views and the taster menu was weell worth it. Perfect for a stopover towards the southern part of the island
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Casa de Ferias is an exceptional little place to stay in Sao Tome. A larger than life host, Bernilda and I had a cosy annex room to relax and write during a stressful month. The location is excellent and great Wi-Fi too. This is the only place to consider to stay in Sao Tome.
The place was great, clean, cosy and close to the city centre...Jaquilza Gomes was very kind and helpful. I would like to recommend the place very highly.
Our hosts Célia and her cats and dogs made sure to make our stay very pleasant.
The very large garden and the bungalows are decorated with care, and make it comfortable to spend some peaceful and quiet time in there.
Célia cooked us a very tasty local dish dinner.

We had a warm welcome and the view ist just awesome! Different breakfast with homemade jams was served every day. The cabin was nice too. Highly recommended!! There is also a little shop in the village and a good restaurant nearby catering for everything you need.
From the capital (Sao Tome) , you will have a beautiful , yet challenging road ahead (approximately 2,5 hours, heaviest is Porto Alegre, even for a 4x4). But it is a reason to take it. The lodge is on a beautiful and breathtaking cliff. Amazing views. Driving in to the ecolodge area is just amazing. Pineapples all around, not to mention the rest. The cottage was spik and span and comfy. Different viewsites with well built platforms to do that. Beach within walking distance. Lot of different surfaces (rocks, sand, plants etc.)
Nice cosy place. Big and confortable rooms. Very clean overall. The staff was very nice and competent. The food in the restaurant is very good and not too expensive.
A rare gem. Small charming hideout at the edge of the world, right next to Sao Tome's best beach that you'll probably have all for yourself. Friendly service, good housekeeping, basic but cosey bungalows, great food. No amenities like hot water and 24/7 electricity, but the privacy and care you get more than make up for it. Oh yeah, the dog really likes to get petted :)
The lodge has a really good look and feel. Lots of green spaces, good swimming pool and cozy rooms. The staff is absolutely lovely, really nice. They are definitely one of the biggest plus. Breakfast is good as well, it’s also quite sustainable because the fruit that is served grows on the property. The property infrastructure is a mix of modern and old which is really nice, really good facilities overall. It was worth it, we really enjoyed our stay
