The cottage was in a beautiful, country location, looking out over fields and the 2 horses of the owner. It was immaculate, and had everything you could possibly want or need. The owner is lovely, and gave us a warm welcome.
Everything you need is available in the house (from washing machine to kitchen, …). The interior is nicely decorated and immediately gives you a warm, cosy feeling. Frida is a very enthusastic host and happy to help!
- Stunning, unique surroundings. The view of the lake and sauna and the sheep chilling around the small hills were absolutely adorable.
- Very cosy and lovely tents. We loved cooking over the fireplace and hanging out on the sheepskin and blanket on the small 'terrace'.
- The sauna was super easy to warm up and the dip in the lake was amazing.
Matsgard was comfortable, homely and had everything we needed to be self sufficient. Fantastic location close to everything, including some beautiful walking tracks. We particularly loved the fireplace, claw foot bathtub and kitchen with all the basic necessities.
Nice cottage for ourselves, our dog enjoyed staying there, silent and nice garden view, we enjoyed watching the chicken walk in the garden, nice host family
