Perfect location for a hiking and sightseeing vacation. Cozy cabin with outdoor equipment for breakfast etc. in the garden and hammocks for chilling in the shade. Lots of light in the interior. If you like to be waked up by squattering ducks, that‘s your place. Also other animals like cats, chicken, rabbits, donkeys, goats… There is also a small fish pond. The host family is commited, friendly and nice. Nothing left to wish for.

The cabin was compact, clean and central to exploring the Bukovina monasteries and national parks around us: Calimani, Rodna, and Ceahlau. We especially enjoyed the porch for resting in the evenings, having our meals, and deer-watching. Our host took great care of us, gave us advice, and shared his museum of family antiquities on the grounds!

George, a very decent and kind man, met us at the station, our train arrived late. The house is in a place where you can paint new pictures every day! This is fun and enjoyment! The house is very well equipped with everything you need. From your neighbor across the street you can buy very tasty milk, cheese, sour cream for a little money - such high-quality dairy products have not been in the store for a long time. Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Very big kitchen area with coffee machine etc and possibility for self catering. Very modern facility - HOWEVER we didn't stay in this place, we were moved to another property down the road, so this review is not valid for Pensiuea Ioana.
