Excellent location with an amazing view of the mountains! We were two parents and three kids and we had everything we needed in the cabin. The hosts are excellent, took care of everything we needed! Very pleasant and kind people. It is definitely highly recommended to visit the place!!!
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
We had an excellent stay at the Mountain View! Cristina and Sid are great hosts. All the reviews from booking.com are accurate. There is only 1 room for rent, a pretty spacious room, spacious bathroom, the room has a cosy balcony with a spectacular breathtaking view, clean. The kitchen /dining/ living space has big large windows that overlook the amazing mountains. They own Jeni and Jackie, 2 playfull dogs that accompany you on your walks. We do hope they expand so we can bring our friends sometime in the future.
A frame cabin perfect for 4 guests, with an amazing view. Easy access, approx 200 m from the main road of Pestera.

It was mediocre at best and we definitely expected more based on the very positive reviews we saw.
Things that are good:
- comfy mattresses
- quiet rooms, protected from outside noises
- nice staff
- some facilities like sauna and jacuzzi available
- terrace and mountain view
But nothing else really stands out.
While our expectations were not for a luxurious or 5 star hotel, we are still trying to understand where is the 4 star rating coming from.
The location is amazing - breathtaking views and we also got to see the first snow this year.
The house is very nicely furnished and cosy - the fireplace is a big plus. The host was also very nice and made the stay great for us as a family! We would definitely come back here!

The place itself is nice and there are spectacular views and sunsets to watch from the terraces. The living room and the rooms are very nicely decorated and clean. Sauna and hot tube are also nice, but these are only 1-2h experiences.
Other details such as bathroom soap, blankets, free yoga classes are nice.
The host is really nice and replied to our messages in a second each time we had a question. The property is very cosy and clean. You have everything in house that you can possibly need for bathroom, cooking, etc. The fireplace is the best part of the house. It is also very quiet in the area and the view is stunning.
