The hotel is situated among a beautiful garden with different plants and trees. There is plenty of outdoor space, where you can relax in nice weather. The staff was very attentive and they even reserved a table for dinner for us on our arrival. I can say that this was one of the best meals, we had on the island. The breakfast also was rich and delicious. We also spent great in the jacuzzi, surrounded by the pineapples.

It was a large property on the outskirts of Ponta Delgada. You must have a car. The property is like a calm oasis with a large heated pool which is a wonderful place to relax after a busy day of hiking or sightseeing. The property is well looked after and it scales the side of a hill so that where you have breakfast is on a patio above where the rooms are located and with a view out over an industrial area to the sea. The breakfast is fantastic offering a wonderful array of fruit, granola, yogurt, eggs, breads, croissants etc etc. It is amazing. The hotel offers different types of rooms. We were in the Guest House which borders a busy road but with the window closed and the AC on it is quite quiet.

This home was spectacular. Everything a family could dream for!! The view was magnificent, the house plan was so efficiently layed out and space for the family was more than adequate. It was very well equipped. Lots of bathrooms. The pool was a hit with everyone as well as all the outdoor space and games. The needs were the most comfortable beds we had on our entire trip. The house was kept cool with air conditioning.

The property host is the most lovely person you will meet in the island! She really cares and takes care of the property and was extremely attentive to all of our questions and needs. The house was lovely and quaint and the garden was spectacular, especially if you love hammocks. There are plenty of rooms with privacy for each. The kitchen has everything you need. The location was super convenient if you have a rental car. We loved staying here and we felt like it was prefect place to experience the vibe of the island.

The space itself was a beautiful studio with huge windows that opened to a little garden. It had a small kitchenette that was fully equipped for meal prep. The host was incredibly kind and had some home made jam and treats for us when we arrived. We had the breakfast in the morning which was wonderful. It consisted of fruits, pancakes, eggs, cheese, yogurts, pastries and more. The host was very kind, she answered all of our questions, made wonderful suggestions for restaurants and gave us some history of the location and the grounds. The studio itself was very clean, stylish, and quiet. I would recommend this establishment for anyone wanting stay on this side of the Sao Miguel.

I liked a lot the garden and the view- special from the terrace on the roof of the building ( it's perfect for taking coffee there ). The apartment is nice and spacious and the girls from reception, always smiling. It's a quiet place, near nature, near the ocean. So, choose for your stay, Sao Vicente Lodge!
We loved Azor Eco Lodge. Hosts were so thoughtful and warm, shared food and great tips for hikes and viewpoints on the island. The private Jacuzzi was awesome. Size of the apartment is enough, the kitchen is small, but has all the amenities you need + dishwasher. Overall, we were super happy.
I truly enjoyed the cozy space, the atmosphere, and the hospitality. The house is very well located for several strategic points to visit on São Miguel Island and a 5-minute walk from the sea. I also loved the fact that I could share the space with the host's animals, they were really cute! The house has a pleasant garden where it's possible to have barbecues and relax after a day of exploring the island. The room and bathroom were clean and nicely decorated. I will come back!
Really charming place! We have only stayed 2 nights so we could not properly use all the facilities. Really nice breakfast with lovely garden views. Super clean!
The lodge was fabulous, beautifly decorated with everything that we be needed and more. We loved the beautiful cladding on the walls and beautiful planting around the hot tub.
Special thanks for the apple pie and pancakes, very tasty. Hot tub was fantastic, this is why we booked this property and we weren't disappointed.
