The house is amazing. We stayed only 2 nights and we had a very full agenda, so we used it only to sleep. But it is really fully furnished to be enjoyed on longer time, with plenty of attention from the owner to his visitors. There are 2 complete bathrooms, downstairs and upstairs. The kitchen has anything you can need, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and all. All products (soaps and coffee capsules) are available. The owner offered us also a small emergency kit (bread, butter, etc) to let us feel comfortable. And he prepared few toys and books for the kids to play with, who were really over the moon.
He also gave us a lot of suggestions, which we could not follow all because we were already busy with friends living in the area as well, but based on the little we did, his recommendation were great. We arrived quite late, at about 1900, so when we asked for a restaurant he booked for us the restaurant where his father works. It couldn’t be better!
Really, if you want to visit the area, stay at this place, you won’t regret at all!

Cecilia and Gilberto are so welcoming and serve a lovely breakfast. The room is cozy but the breakfast and patio areas are wonderful. A bed and breakfast feel. So nice to be inside the walls in such a charming town, and Óbidos is really so nice before/after the day trippers.
Upon our arrival after a long journey, Ricardo prepared the best risotto dinner we have ever experienced. Our room (with private entrance) was decorated with bright, charming folk art. Nina was always available, providing stellar breakfasts and suggestions for exploring the beautiful beaches and countryside. (On our next trip we will take a bike ride with bikes which are offered.) But the best part was enjoying getting to know Nina and Ricardo!
This was probably the most unique and cozy hostel I've ever stayed in. The house is beautiful and has so much character. The dorm is very pleasant too. The location, in a charming street right under one of the town gates, is excellent too. And all of that for a reasonable price!
Very charming hotel, staff is really helpful. Room is big, good finishings, bed comfortable. Extra pillows and blankets provided. Small bath but actually perfect size to relax (in my opinion).

Everything. This hotel is located within the walled UNESCO Heritage site. Very elegant and charming 10-room hotel. Super accommodating staff. Breakfast was served in a tastefully decorated restaurant. The dinner in the same restaurant was excellent.
