Everything about this property was top notch: the furnishings, the beds, the shower, the kitchen. Joao brought us a basket of breakfast every morning that was beautiful and incredible. Very thoughtful attention to details! Plus Joao was so friendly and helpful. He greeted us at the door on our arrival and made suggestions for places we might visit. We did a 10k hike that he recommended and it was really enjoyable. I really can’t say enough about him and about the place (did I mention that it is right next to the castle??)! Highly recommended!!!

The renovated old house is so beautiful, the architecture and the decoration are so charming. The breakfast had homemade delicacies like jam and cake, all delicious. And we had a such nice talk with Dona Lurdes. The medieval village is stunning!

It was such a privilege to be able to spend time in this beautiful and historic space. The owner was so kind. Getting there was an adventure!! with narrow, curvy and steep roads. But it was so very worth the effort. I would absolutely spend time here again.
