    The studio cabin was very clean and access to the key was simple. We were heading to Lake Waikaremoana the next morning for a waka ama event, so an overnight stay in Wairoa was a great way to break up the trip. We had a waka attached to the roof of our ute, but parking outside the cabin was roomy and easy to move in and out from.

    The whole idyllic setting with nearby beach, fabulous weather totally relaxed and welcoming. The farm shop operated by owner Rose provided lovely sirloin steaks for breakfast plus some batista coffee. The animals were great and also very hospitable

    The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed, rooms were nice and warm. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for some accommodation in wairoa to check out the vista motor lodge. We will definitely be back again

    if you want quiet and to be surrounded by countryside with your own beach this is perfect. there’s a farm shop on a Sunday so you can get homemade pizza and cake !

    Breathtaking views, lovely cozy cottage, nice linen, perfect spot for reading and relaxing, set in a dreamy farm, 5min walk from the beach. It is one of my favourite spots in New Zealand

    This place is a hidden beauty! Rose you are amazing and I will be telling everyone about the cottage (already started). So cosy, comfortable and the beach is a stone throw away. Then you are also surrounded by the farm and all of farm animals. My colleague couldn't help herself and had to stop and pat the donkey and horse. Such a beautiful place. Thankyou for having us
